Epson TM-C3500 label printer
The Epson TM-C3500 label printer is a multifaceted printer that will print color labels in resolutions of between 360 and 720 dots per inch. An incredibly tough machine, it has a mean time between failures of 88,000 hours. With roughly four times the longevity of lesser printers, the TM-C3500 is perfect for high-volume, commercial applications.
The TM-C3500 can print at speeds of up to a robust four inches per second, and its four, individual ink cartridges ensure clean and efficient operation. When combined with Epson’s high-performance DURABrite ink, the MicroPiezo inkjets consistently turn out crisp text, images and barcodes on labels of between 1.2 and 4 inches in size. When printing on proper stock, the TM-C3500 creates labels as tough as it is; they conform to British Standard 5609 when used with DURABrite ink, which means the labels will not only remain affixed even after three months immersion in seawater but also that the ink will remain legible under the same conditions.
The Epson TM-C3500 label printer offers other printing options too, such as both glossy and matte finishes on normal or synthetic label stock. It will print labels on three different media: fanfold, die-cut or roll-fed. Because it is compatible with all standard printing applications and has both USB and Ethernet connectors, the Epson TM-C3500 printer can go nearly anywhere, especially because it is dust and water-resistant.
The printer is compatible with the 32 and 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. It is a fairly quiet machine, and, while operating, its noise level is equivalent to normal conversation at 58 decibels. It’s remarkably energy efficient as well and uses less power than a mid-sized light bulb. The Epson TM-C3500 is not overly large at 26 pounds and is easily portable.
The TM-C3500 color label printer comes with an AC power adapter with line cord, four full pigment ink cartridges, a roll of sample labels, a media outlet tray, a quick-start instruction guide, and a CD with all applicable utilities and manuals.
