Laser Label Printer Review: UniNet iColor 700 & Primera CX1000
What’s the difference between UniNet iColor 700 and the Primera CX1000 color label printers?
The marketing world is becoming more of a visual space with every business generation. Even in your company’s print campaigns, you need to be as visually compelling as you possibly can. Color labeling can definitely help in your company marketing campaigns. However, this is not the only aspect of your business in which color labeling is important.
Primera Technology started shipping its new GHS color label printer, the Primera LX2000, on June 9th and has already sold out as of June 10th. Though many have been waiting anxiously for the arrival of the Primera LX2000, demand has been more than anticipated.
After an unexpected delay, the Primera LX2000 is finally ready to make its debut next week, and DuraFast Label Company will start shipping it to customers the following week.
The UniNet iColor 900 is a short-run digital label press that allows you to conveniently print your labels in-house to avoid costly revision fees from an outsourced printer. Although the iColor 900 has the same laser technology and top-of-the-line quality as the iColor 700, the former can print wider label media up to 12.9†wide versus the 8.5†labels that the iColor 700 can print. In addition to the wider labels, the iColor 900 can hold larger label media rolls, up to 12†outside diameter (OD) versus the iColor 700 which can only hold rolls up to 8†OD.
The UniNet iColor 700 and iColor 900 both have valuable features that make them outstanding label printers. Both make use of Single Pass 4 Color LED technology and both produce high-resolution output at 1200 x 600 dpi. The printing speed is identical on both: 30 feet (9.14 meters) per minute.
